Saul Allen Fineman
After graduating with a BFA in graphics and illustration from the University of the Arts (formerly Philadelphia College of Art), Saul moved to Los Angeles in 1978 where he freelanced in the music and entertainment industry working in promotions, as well as producing, writing, and performing music for films, radio, and live performances throughout the southwest and Hawaii for entities such as Universal Pictures, Heaven Scent perfume, Rockwell International, Cast of Thousands Productions, and Pacific Eye and Ear Advertising.
In 1984 he partnered with an associate to form David Hale Associates, Inc. as president. DHA was a successful graphic design boutique with 13 employees and worked with clients such as Paramount Pictures, Panavision motion picture cameras, Universal Studios, Warner Bros. Records, NGK Spark Plugs, and SPI Pharmaceuticals, to name a few.
During this period, Saul saw the coming revolution in the graphics field with the release of computers onto the scene. He immediately became computer savvy and has been expert in the premiere graphics programs since that time.
In 1990, Fineman Communications emerged when Saul decided to reinvent himself and his company as a leader in computer-generated graphic design and formed a consortium of tech-oriented individuals in varying areas of creative disciplines.
